James Abdnor (R-SD)

James Abdnor represented South Dakota in the U.S. Senate from 1981-1987. He previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives, as Lieutenant Governor of South Dakota, and in the South Dakota State Senate. He identified as a Republican. He died in 2012.
