Patrick Lucey served as Governor of Wisconsin from 1971-1977. He previously served as Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin, in the Wisconsin State Assembly, and on the De Soto School Board. He identified as a Democrat but identified as an Independent from 1979-1980. He died in 2014.
