Dirk Kempthorne (R-ID)

Dirk Kempthorne served as Governor of Idaho from 1999-2006. He previously served in the U.S. Senate and as Mayor of Boise. He later served as U.S. Secretary of the Interior. He identified as a Republican. He died in 2026.
