Robert Stafford (R-VT)

Robert Stafford represented Vermont in the U.S. Senate from 1971-1989. He previously served in the U.S. House of Representatives, as Governor of Vermont, as Lieutenant Governor of Vermont, as Attorney General of Vermont, and as State’s Attorney of Rutland County. He identified as a Republican. He died in 2006.
