Syd Herlong (R-FL)

Syd Herlong represented Florida’s 4th Congressional District (previously the 5th Congressional District) from 1949-1969. He previously served as Attorney of Leesburg and as Judge of Lake County. He identified as a Republican but identified as a Democrat before 1985. He died in 1995.
