Walter Powell represented Ohio’s 8th Congressional District (previously the 24th Congressional District) from 1971-1975. He previously served in the Ohio State Senate, in the Ohio State House of Representatives, on the Fairfield City Council, and as Clerk of Fairfield. He identified as a Republican. He died in 2020.
