William Dickinson represented Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District from 1965-1993. He previously served on the Opelika Board of Education, on the Alabama Circuit Court, as a Common Pleas Judge of Lee County, and on the Opelika City Court. He identified as a Republican but identified as a Democrat before 1964. He died in 2008.
